James E. Wall, age 83 of Coleman, Texas, died on June 28, 2015. He was born in Sonora, Texas on January 22, 1932 to Andrew Jackson Wall and Joe Thelma Smith Wall and went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict as a Beach Jumper. James worked for the Sheriff’s department in San Angelo, Mertzon, Port Aransas and finally in Dallas County where served as a judge’s bailiff until his retirement in 2006. He was a faithful servant of the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman and loved to pick his guitar and sing gospel music. James is preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, June in 2006. He will be greatly missed by his sister Thelma Louise Jones of Bangs, Texas; nieces and nephews Pete, Jack and Buck Skains; Janice Lanier; Paula Gilbert; Betty Bartholomew; Jerry and James Jones along with numerous great nieces and nephews and other loving extended family. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coleman. Memorial donations can be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church at P.O. Box 289 or 1000 Clow Street, Coleman, TX, 76834.
