Gacek, Chester B. age 97, of Columbia Heights, passed away July 10, 2023. Survived by wife Beverly, sister Jean (Dallas) Joseph, many nieces and nephews. Served in the Navy during WWII on the USS Eldorado. Long time employee of Honeywell. Chester and Beverly enjoyed playing golf year round in Minneapolis and Scottsdale AZ. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Animal Humane Society or Courage Kenny Institute. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Thursday, July 20 at the Church Of St. Hedwig, 129 29th Ave NE, Minneapolis with visitation 1 hour before Mass. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
