JOHN JAMES MANFIELD JR. John James Manfield, Jr., age 70, of Sebring, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2008, in Orlando, Fla. He was born June 21, 1937, to John James and Henrietta (McLaughlin) Manfield in Philadelphia, Pa. and had been a resident of Sebring since 2005, coming from Port St. Lucie, Fla. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie since 1996, moving from Newark, Del. He was a dental technician for the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam and retired as a Petty Officer First Class (E6) in 1973, after 20 years. He taught at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School and Hodgson Vo-Tech High School in Glasgow, Del. and was a member of the Delaware State Education Association; U.S. Navy Beach Jumpers Association; Fleet Reserve Association and Florida Guardian Ad Litem program. He attended St. Catherine Catholic Church in Sebring. Mr. Manfield is survived by his wife, Monique I. Manfield of Sebring; son, John J. (and Laura) Manfield III of Oxford, Pa.; daughter, Brigitte Faggioli of Phoenixville, Pa.; sisters, Jacqueline Barker of Forked River, N.J., Joan Howk of Newark, Del., Linda Manfield and Mary Manfield, both of Woodbury, N.J.; brother, Robert Manfield of Gloucester City, N.J. and five grandchildren.
