‘Turbo Vestri Hostilis’
John “Jack” Krolak, age 74 of Trenton, FL and Cruso, NC, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 17th, 2021 from the flooding of tropical storm Fred. Born in Albany, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph Casmir and Dorothy Ratz Krolak. John was retired from a lifelong career as a police officer and he was a Navy veteran. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Surviving is his wife, Donna Krolak, of the home; son, Jerome Krolak of Gainesville, FL; sister, Mary Charron of Fort Lauderdale, FL. Services are pending at this time and will be announced at a later date. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thanks Haywood County Sheriff, Greg Christopher, Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Wives Association, North Carolina Highway Patrol Search & Rescue, and Yancey County Sheriff’s Office for all their support and assistance. Holcombe Brothers Funeral Home is respectfully serving the Krolak family.
