John H. Locke OBITUARY Locke, John H. Beloved Husband, Father Grandpa, Dear Friend – Age 72 Passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, September 28, 2005. Preceded in death by parents and brother. Survived by loving wife, Alva; adored children, Allison (Tony) Schelitzche, Jeff (Jennifer), Jana (Jon) Lindberg, Wendy and Glenn; and precious grandchildren, Caleb, Thomas & Scarlet Locke, Andrew Lindberg; sister, Marian; and many other loving family members and friends. John was born Nov. 21, 1932 and raised in Schenectady, N.Y. He graduated from Union College in 1956 after attending OCS and serving in the US Navy, aboard the USS Columbus, which he spoke of fondly. He was a 30+ year employee of 3M. In retirement, John enjoyed his time at the cabin, fishing, boating, and sitting around the fire pit with his family. He looked forward to lunching with old friends. He adored his wife, children and precious grandchildren. We will all miss John’s wonderful sense of humor & quick wit. Funeral Service Monday 11AM, MOUNT CALVARY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3930 Rahn Road, Eagan. Visitation, Sunday 5-8PM, JOSEPH S. KLECATSKY & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1580 Century Pt., Eagan. Private interment, Acacia Park Cemetery.
