DONATIONS MEMBERS & ASSOCIATES The U.S. Navy Beach Jumpers Association is a military veterans group comprised of former shipmates that served in a Navy Beach Jumper unit, or other unit as defined in our membership criteria. Our purpose is to perpetuate the recognition and memory of Navy Beach Jumpers. Our organization is funded primarily through annual membership dues and donations from family relatives, and associate members. These funds are used to maintain operational costs such as an internet website, U.S.Postal services and postage, telephone service, stationary and other office supplies, identification card services, etc. Funds are also used in conjunction with associated fees incurred during a reunion. Funds are also earmarked for our Navy Beach Jumper Memorial Marker maintenance and refurbishment costs at the Ocracoke Island NC site. Donors will receive a Memorial Marker vinyl information card for their contribution. When an association member attains the age of 80, he is no longer required to pay an annual dues as per our by-laws. Some members however do continue to make a voluntary donation, and we thank them for that. Active membership has declined through the years but we will continue to promote the recognition and memory of all Navy Beach Jumpers. Please feel free to contribute, any amount is gratefully appreciated.
