‘Turbo Vestri Hostilis’
Charles Wesley Moore age 82 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 10, 2020 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was born October 11, 1937 in Kayford, WV., to the late Wesley and Margaret Virginia (Frye) Moore. On November 26, 1966 he married Sharon Anne (Cadden) Moore. Charles was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1956-1959 in Beach Jumper Unit Two. He was employed at Tecumseh Products for 20 years and Nippert for 20 years before he retired. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Moore of Marion, OH., his children Robert W. (Donna) Moore of Marion, OH., Christopher A. (Teri) Moore of Columbus, OH., Cheryl (Duane) Roller of Columbus, OH., Tricia (Scott) Weimers of Newark, OH., eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, his brothers, Roger D. (Susan) Moore of Cabin Creek, WV., Lewis (Janet) Moore of Eastbank, WV., his sisters, Mary (Bob) Howell of Chattanooga, TN., Kay (Louis) Mun’oz of FL., and several nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Norman Moore and his sister, Jackie Kaley. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1 pm at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home, with a Military Service conducted by the Marion County Veterans Council.
