Wayne Miller was an integral part of our association since its inception. As one of the original association corporators, Wayne had served as a member on the Board of Directors since 2003. Wayne served as Master of Ceremony at the 2009 Ocracoke, NC reunion when the association unveiled the Beach Jumpers Memorial marker on Loop Shack Hill, the site where Beach Jumper specialized training took place during WWII before deployment of 11 Beach Jumper units worldwide. Wayne’s presence on the Board of Directors as a contributing researcher and director will be sadly missed by everyone. Fair winds and following seas shipmate.

Wayne’s memorial service was private. The family will have a Celebration of Life for Wayne on August 2, 2024 from noon to 9pm at the White House Lodge 1100 Lake Road, Webster, NY 14580
